How to Create and Mark Common Structure

Steps​

  1. Drafting:

    1. Podium
      1. If there are any Common Podium Plans within a building, move those floor plans outside the __BN_BuildingPlan polyline.
      2. Create Podium polyline including all the Common Podium Floor Plans within it.
    2. Common Basement
      1. If there are any Common Basement floor plans within a building, move those floor plans outside the __BN_BuildingPlan polyline.
      2. Create a Common Basement polyline including all the Common Basement Floor Plans within it.
    3. Common Structure
      1. Create a Common Structure polyline including both the Podium and Common Basement polylines.

  2. Marking:

    1. Mark Common Structure:
      1. Common Structure Name:
        1. Navigate to Guided Marking => Common Structure => Common Structure
        2. Provide a name for the created common structure
      2. Proposed Work Map:
        1. Navigate to Common Structure => Proposed Work Map
        2. Select the proposed work WRT which the direction ref circles are drawn inside the floor plans of the common structure.
      3. Highest Level Podium.
        1. Navigate to Common Structure => Podium Segments
        2. Select the highest level podium floor plan in Common Structure.
        3. Mark the margins for the podium area outline which is selected.
    2. Mark Building:
      1. Building to Common Structure Map:
        1. Navigate to Building => Common Structure Map
        2. Select the common structure that is applicable for this building.
      2. If an applicable common structure is selected for the building, the floor plans within the common structure will also be available to map the floor in sections within this building.

Locations​

  1. Ensure that __BN_CommonBasement and __BN_Podium layers are present inside the __BN_CommonStructure Layer.

CheckPoints​

  1. Ensure that Building is mapped to Common Structure (If Applicable) before starting the Floor Plan Mapping step.
